Medical Answering Specialist

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Medical Answering Specialist to join our team and help us deliver exceptional care to our patients. Key Responsibilities: • Manage and respond to a high volume of patient calls. • Schedule various types of appointments for multiple clinic locations and healthcare providers. • Provide patients with information about their upcoming appointments including copay and facility information. • Maintain and update electronic health records with accuracy and confidentiality. • Documenting details in our EMR system while maintaining a professional and compassionate demeanor Qualifications: • Proven experience as a medical assistant or similar role, preferably in a virtual or remote setting. • Proficiency in using EHR systems. • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. • Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare procedures. Preferred Skills: • Experience with customer service and patient care. • Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality practices.
