B2B Meeting Setter for Specialist Training and Capability Consultancy Overview Ratio is a specialist training and consultancy business helping organisations develop capability across: • Software Engineering • Artificial Intelligence • Leadership and Management • Business Analysis • Project and Programme Management • Technology and Digital Transformation We work with medium and large organisations across the UK, Europe and North America. Our clients typically come to us when they have an important capability challenge to solve. This may involve introducing AI into software engineering teams, developing new technical leaders, improving Business Analysis capability, supporting PMO and project teams, or helping engineering teams adopt new technologies. We are now looking to build relationships with a small number of additional large corporate clients and are seeking an experienced B2B meeting setter to help us create qualified conversations with the right decision-makers. The Opportunity This is not a high-volume appointment-setting role. We are not looking for someone to send hundreds of generic messages or simply fill a calendar. We are looking for someone who can identify the right organisations, engage professionally with senior decision-makers, and create genuine opportunities for us to discuss current or emerging upskilling requirements. Our target clients will usually have at least 500 employees, although many will be considerably larger. The objective is to build relationships with organisations that have the potential to use Ratio repeatedly across multiple teams, departments and capability areas. Commercial Goal Our aim is to acquire at least two new large corporate clients per month with the potential for ongoing annual work. To support this, we are looking for someone capable of generating approximately: 10–12 qualified and attended meetings per month During the initial 30-day pilot, we would expect the activity and pipeline to begin building towards this level. Target Contacts Relevant contacts may include: • Heads of Learning and Development • Learning Partners • Chief Technology Officers • Technology Directors • Heads of Engineering • Engineering Capability Leaders • Heads of PMO • Heads of Business Analysis • Leadership Development Leads • Digital Transformation Leaders • Talent and Capability Leaders Target Organisations Ideal organisations will typically have: • At least 500 employees • Ongoing annual learning and capability requirements • Technology, engineering, leadership, AI, PMO or Business Analysis teams • Potential requirements across multiple departments • A need for practical, specialist and outcome-focused support Our focus is on larger corporate organisations rather than small businesses or one-off course buyers. What Counts as a Qualified Meeting A qualified meeting should involve: • An organisation with at least 500 employees • A relevant senior decision-maker or strong internal influencer • A genuine current or emerging training, upskilling or capability requirement • A realistic opportunity for Ratio to support the organisation • Attendance at the scheduled meeting We are not interested in meetings with: • Recruitment agencies • Consultants selling services • Training providers • Job seekers • Students • Organisations outside our target profile Responsibilities You will be responsible for: • Identifying suitable target organisations • Researching relevant decision-makers • Building and maintaining prospect lists • Creating and managing LinkedIn and email outreach • Sending personalised and credible messages • Following up professionally • Qualifying potential opportunities • Booking meetings directly into our calendar • Maintaining accurate records of activity and outcomes • Providing clear weekly reporting on progress and pipeline What Success Looks Like We are interested in: • Qualified meetings with the right people • Genuine conversations around current or future capability needs • Strong target-account research • Professional outreach that reflects the Ratio brand • Opportunities with the potential to become long-term corporate relationships We are not interested in vanity metrics such as: • Number of messages sent • Number of connection requests • Number of email opens • Low-quality calendar bookings We would much rather have six excellent conversations with the right organisations than sixty with the wrong ones. Initial Engagement We will begin with a 30-day paid pilot. Expected time commitment: 8–10 hours per week Compensation will include: • An agreed hourly rate • A bonus for each qualified meeting that is attended The meeting bonus will only apply where the organisation and contact meet the qualification criteria set out in this brief. The initial trial is designed to confirm that there is a strong fit between: • Your approach • The quality of the opportunities created • Our target market • The style of outreach required After a successful trial period, this will become an ongoing role. There will also be scope to increase hours as the process becomes established and demonstrates consistent results. Ideal Experience We are particularly interested in applicants who have experience booking B2B meetings with senior decision-makers in one or more of the following areas: • Corporate Learning and Development • Technology • Software Engineering • Artificial Intelligence • Digital Transformation • Professional Services • Leadership Development • Project Management and PMO • Business Analysis • Training and Consultancy Experience targeting organisations with 500+ employees will be especially valuable. About Ratio Ratio is not a catalogue-led training provider. Our consultants and instructors typically bring 20–30 years of real-world experience in the subjects they teach. We focus on understanding the challenge first, then building the right learning, consultancy or mentoring solution around the desired outcome. Most of our business comes from repeat clients and referrals. We deliberately work with a focused group of clients so we can invest the time required to understand their organisation, involve the right subject matter experts, and deliver meaningful outcomes. How to Apply Please include: Your experience booking B2B meetings with senior corporate decision-makers The types of organisations and sectors you have worked with Examples of target roles you have successfully engaged Your preferred outreach methods Your typical monthly results Your hourly rate Examples of successful campaigns or results you have delivered How you would approach generating meetings with organisations of 500+ employees Please begin your application with the words: Ratio Meeting Setter This will confirm that you have read the full brief. We are looking for someone professional, commercially aware and capable of representing a specialist consultancy credibly with senior corporate decision-makers.
