Mentoship for Simulation Setup and Research Analysis

The goal of this project is to support the investigation of selection mechanisms in IoT network environments and establish the technical and experimental foundation for future research activities. Expected Mentorship and Support Activities Guidance in defining the problem statement and research motivation. Discussion and identification of limitations and research gaps in recent approaches. Recommendations of relevant recent publications and comparison studies for further reading. Technical guidance regarding the design and implementation of an NS-3 simulation environment. Advice on selecting appropriate simulation parameters, including network size, mobility models, traffic patterns, data rates, and simulation duration. Support in planning and evaluating initial simulation scenarios. Discussion and interpretation of preliminary results and observations. Review and explanation of source code, simulation files, and reproducibility requirements. Guidance on documenting the simulation setup, methodology, and experimental process.
