Meta Attribution Audit + Pixel Transfer + Domain Verification
Worldwide
I'm looking for a highly technical Meta tracking specialist to audit and repair a partially functioning attribution setup before a future product launch. The goal is to understand the current tracking architecture, identify why Meta is under-reporting conversions, and ensure that all Meta assets are properly owned and controlled by my Business Manager going forward. Current Stack * Shopify * Klaviyo * Meta Ads * Meta Pixel * GA4 * Google Tag Manager (possibly including server-side GTM) * Conversions API (status unknown) * Stape (status/ownership unknown) Background I recently completed a waitlist test campaign. Meta only attributed a fraction (under 15%) of those conversions. Meta is receiving some conversion events, but attribution appears incomplete or inconsistent. Pixel ownership and domain verification may still be tied to a previous agency and existing tracking infrastructure was inherited and is not fully documented. Project Goals 1. Identify why Meta is significantly under-reporting conversions. 2. Repair the tracking setup so Meta receives and attributes conversions correctly. 3. Validate the entire conversion flow from: Meta Ad → Website → Klaviyo Form Submission → Meta Attribution 4. Determine ownership of: * Pixel * Domain Verification * GTM * Server-side tracking infrastructure (if applicable) 5. Transfer ownership where possible or provide a clear migration plan if assets cannot be transferred. Scope Tracking Audit & Repair * Audit Meta Events Manager * Audit custom conversions * Audit Aggregated Event Measurement * Audit GTM implementation * Audit Conversions API * Audit event mapping and deduplication * Audit Klaviyo form tracking Implementation Work * Fix attribution issues where possible * Fix event mapping issues * Fix conversion event configuration * Validate browser and server-side event flow * Confirm Meta is optimizing against the correct event Ownership & Infrastructure * Review pixel ownership * Assist with transfer if possible * Review domain verification ownership * Assist with transfer if possible * Review any active server-side tracking infrastructure Deliverables * Attribution issue identified and corrected * Meta conversion reporting functioning correctly * Conversion flow validated end-to-end * Pixel ownership status resolved or migration plan provided * Domain verification ownership resolved or migration plan provided * Written summary of work completed and any remaining limitations Requirements Please include: 1. Examples of Meta attribution troubleshooting projects you have personally fixed 2. Experience with GTM, Meta Events Manager, Conversions API, and server-side tracking 3. Experience transferring Meta pixels and domain verification between Business Managers 4. Whether you personally perform the work 5. Estimated hours required I am not looking for: * Media buying * Creative strategy * Campaign management * Ongoing optimization
