GENTLEMEN'S MOBILE BARBERSHOP MVP VERSION 1.0 PROJECT PURPOSE Create a complete booking and business management platform for a mobile barbershop company operating multiple barber vans under one brand. The system must allow clients to book appointments, barbers to manage appointments, and company management to oversee operations, revenue, royalties, vans, and service zones. CLIENT PROFILE, HAIRCUT HISTORY & BARBER NOTES SYSTEM This feature is a required part of the MVP. Each client should have a private internal profile accessible only to authorized barbers and company administrators. The client must NOT be able to see these internal notes or records. Purpose: To allow barbers to remember haircut preferences, previous services, special requests, and client-specific details so that every barber in the company can provide a consistent experience. CLIENT PHOTO GALLERY Authorized barbers and administrators should be able to upload and store multiple photos for each client. Examples: * Front view * Side views * Back view * Completed haircut photos * Reference haircut photos There should be no strict limit on the number of photos stored per client profile. CLIENT NOTES Barbers should be able to create private notes attached to the client profile. Examples: * Prefers low fade * Likes beard squared * Does not want eyebrows touched * Wants extra length on top * Sensitive around ears * Prefers scissors instead of clippers in certain areas * Does not like hair product * Prefers minimal conversation during service These notes must be visible to all authorized company barbers and administrators. HAIRCUT HISTORY Every completed appointment should automatically create a history record containing: * Date of service * Barber name * Van assigned * Service performed * Photos uploaded * Notes added * Payment information This history should remain permanently attached to the client profile. PREFERRED HAIRCUT FEATURE Barbers should be able to mark a haircut style as the client's current preferred haircut. Example: Preferred Haircut: Low Fade + Beard This should be displayed prominently when any barber opens the client profile. COMPANY-WIDE ACCESS All authorized barbers across all company vans should be able to access client history, photos, and notes. Example: A client receives a haircut from Van #1 in Palm Beach. Six months later, the same client books with Van #2 in Fort Lauderdale. The new barber should immediately have access to the client's haircut history, photos, preferences, and notes. BUSINESS BENEFIT The purpose of this system is to ensure service consistency across all vans and barbers while preserving company knowledge and client history within the platform. Client knowledge should remain with the company rather than being stored only in the memory of an individual barber.
