Native Portuguese Speakers Needed – General Conversation Recording Project

We are looking for native Portuguese speakers to participate in a conversation recording project that will help improve speech recognition technology. Participants will work in pairs and record natural general conversations using a mobile application. The conversations should sound natural and spontaneous, similar to everyday phone conversations. Conversation Topics: Participants will be provided with topics. Examples include: 1. Daily life and routines 2. Hobbies and interests 3. Travel experiences 4. Food and cooking 5. Weather and seasons 6. Work or studies 7. Shopping experiences 8. Movies, music, or entertainment 9. Technology and social media 10. Cultural traditions You may prepare ideas around the topic, but the final recording must sound natural and conversational, not scripted. Recording Duration : Each recording session must be minimum 4 minutes and maximum 30 minutes. Each participant can record up to 45 minutes maximum. Since recordings are done in pairs: Maximum total recording per pair = 1.5 hours Participants may complete this through multiple conversations as long as the total limit is respected. You are free to: apply with your own partner bring a friend or colleague Participants can split the payment between themselves however they prefer.
