We're looking for someone to become the behind-the-scenes engine that helps keep The Base running smoothly. This isn't your typical Virtual Assistant role. We're not looking for someone to simply tick boxes and wait for instructions. We're looking for someone who takes ownership, notices things before they're a problem, genuinely cares about people, and wants to be part of building something special. At The Base, community comes first. Every member matters. Every interaction matters. What You'll Be Doing: Member Experience & Administration Processing new memberships and sales Managing membership changes, holds and cancellations Following up failed payments and outstanding accounts Updating member records Managing class schedules and bookings Assisting with onboarding new members Helping maintain our member journey and communication systems Communication & Support Managing emails and inbox organisation Responding to enquiries Assisting with social media messages and community engagement Supporting our members with warmth, professionalism and efficiency Reporting & Business Support Weekly attendance reporting Updating business dashboards and scoreboards Tracking key gym metrics Maintaining spreadsheets and systems Assisting with marketing administration Helping identify trends, issues and opportunities The Type Of Person We're Looking For You don't need to know everything. But you do need to: ✔ Be proactive ✔ Communicate clearly and professionally ✔ Love organisation and systems ✔ Be reliable and accountable ✔ Have excellent attention to detail ✔ Be comfortable with technology ✔ Be able to solve problems independently ✔ Care about people ✔ Take pride in your work ✔ Fluent written and spoken English If you're the type of person who sees something needs doing and just gets it done, you'll fit right in. Hours Part-time remote position. Hours and workload will grow with the role. Flexible working arrangements available, ideally available to work during Australian business hours (Sydney/AEST-AEDT timezone)
