Online Instructor for Data Analytics Bootcamp

I run a small online school and we have a small cohort for a Data Analytics bootcamp starting in July that we need a new instructor to teach. Our current instructor is not available. We are seeking 1 person who is an all-around Data Analytics expert to join our instructor team. The ideal candidate is a “Swiss army knife” of all things involving the skills involved in being an effective analytics professional in today's workforce. Our bootcamp is a project-based program covering SQL, Python, Python pandas and visualization, Statistics & SPSS Terminology, Advanced Excel, AI and Machine Learning. The ideal candidate will possess a focus on adult higher education, patient teaching and understand our commitment to student employment outcomes. The curriculum is already written, we have materials for most sessions, as well as past recordings that someone can refer to. We are looking for a freelance/contract instructor to help small group complete the bootcamp and be better prepared for the workforce. About You -Expert in Data Analytics, SQL, Python, Python pandas and visualization, Statistics & SPSS Terminology, Advanced Excel, AI and Machine Learning. -Able to provide use cases and examples of how to apply skills in the workplace -Tech savvy individual who is comfortable in a fast-paced tech bootcamp environment -Experience teaching online via Zoom -Comfortable with the teaching schedule as described -Takes joy in talking with and helping students advance their careers -High attention to detail -Kind and friendly personality -Understanding of conflict management -Resourceful problem solver Requirements -10+ years professional experience as an analytics professional -Online teaching experience -Positive attitude and great student support skills -Demonstrated high level of understanding of technology and how to convey complex subjects to those who have less knowledge than you -Understanding of contract work and that contract opportunities may vary. You get bonus points for -Bachelor’s degree or certification in related field -Experience teaching at a tech bootcamp, higher education program or adult education school -Relevant experience working with students in higher education Had you been with us last month, the top 5 things you would have impacted are -Teaching students the latest job skills for the workforce -Guiding prospective students to advance towards their career goals -Watching our students graduate, grow their careers, and improve their lives -Connecting with alumni and tracking their employment progress Schedule Begins 07/20. The schedule is 3 evenings per week for 3 hrs each. Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, 4:30pm – 7:30pm MT (6:30pm-9:30pm EST). 198 hours total commitment over approx 6 months. All online via Zoom. There is little to no additional grading time outside of class hours. Some communication and mentoring with student outside of scheduled time is expected. Compensation This is a flat-rate compensation (not hourly) for the cohort.
