Online Reputation Management & Google Review Startup Needs Founding Consultants, Growth & Sales help

Summary

I'm an entrepreneurial investor launching a brand-new Online Reputation Management (ORM) agency from the ground up. I would love to find experienced people in this industry who have done what i'm looking to do. Our core service will help local businesses identify and flag Google reviews that violate Google's official review policies (fake reviews, spam, conflicts of interest, off-topic, prohibited content, etc.) — and improve their overall Google review profile through legitimate review-generation and Google Business Profile optimization. This is a 100% white-hat, policy-compliant business. We are NOT in the business of removing legitimate negative reviews — we help business owners get a fair shake by enforcing Google's own rules and growing authentic reviews from real customers. I'm putting the team together and leading the company. I need experienced operators and consultants to help me build it. What I Need Help With I'm hiring a founding consultant / launch partner to work directly with me on: Business plan & operating model — pricing strategy (retainer vs. per-flag vs. setup + monthly), service tiers, unit economics, and cash-flow model. Customer onboarding process — intake forms, contracts/MSA, billing (retainer, pre-authorized card-on-file, ACH), CRM setup, client portal. Sales engine — defining ICP (which local business niche to target first), positioning, lead-gen channels (cold email, LinkedIn, local field sales, partnerships with SEO/marketing agencies), and helping me build/test sales scripts. Hiring plan — when and how to hire a sales rep, ops manager, and review-flagging specialists. Help me write the job ads, screen candidates, and set comp/commission structure. Operations & fulfillment SOPs — workflow for review-by-review policy analysis, evidence documentation, Google submission process, follow-up cadence, and QA. Tech stack & website — recommend tools (CRM, dialer, scheduling, billing), oversee website build, define the marketing funnel. Cost-effective fulfillment — help me identify the most cost-effective, ethical way to handle policy-violation flagging at scale (in-house VAs, offshore specialists, or a mix). Who I'm Looking For 3+ years running, building, or operating a reputation management / online reputation / local SEO agency Hands-on experience with Google review policy enforcement and the official Google escalation process Proven track record building or running sales teams (B2B local business sales preferred) Comfortable being a thought partner to a founder — not just an executor Excellent written and spoken English (this is a hard requirement) Available on Zoom/Loom for working sessions Bonus US market experience Has built and sold (or scaled) a similar agency before Experience with door-to-door / field sales, telesales, or local outbound Engagement Style I'm flexible. This can start as a paid discovery/strategy sprint (e.g., 10–20 hours over 2 weeks to deliver a business plan + 90-day launch roadmap), then transition into an ongoing fractional advisor role at a weekly cadence. If we click, I'm open to long-term retainer or fractional COO-style arrangements. Screening Questions (please answer in your proposal) Have you personally built or run a reputation management agency? Briefly describe. What is your approach to flagging Google reviews that violate policy, and roughly what success rate have you seen? Based on your experience, what is the most cost-effective fulfillment model for a startup ORM agency (in-house, VA team, hybrid)? Which local-business niche would you recommend targeting first for an ORM startup, and why? What pricing model has worked best in your experience — flat retainer, per-review, setup + monthly, or performance-based? What is your hourly rate, and what's the smallest engagement you'd take to prove fit?
