Operations Advisor (Part-Time / Contract)

We are a growing biomedical company looking for an experienced Operations Advisor to review, assess, and improve key operational processes. This is not a day-to-day management role. We are looking for someone who can independently evaluate how our operational functions are performing, identify risks, assess process owners, and provide practical recommendations. Areas of responsibility include: • Production and manufacturing operations • Equipment delivery and logistics • Warehouse operations and inventory management • Customer support operations • Internal documentation and knowledge management systems The ideal candidate has hands-on experience building and managing operational systems and understands the operational, financial, and management aspects of running business processes. Responsibilities: • Meet with process owners and managers • Review operational workflows and documentation • Evaluate process effectiveness and execution risks • Identify bottlenecks, gaps, and improvement opportunities • Assess whether teams have the skills and resources required for success • Provide weekly operational observations and recommendations • Deliver monthly operational assessments and improvement plans Preferred background: • Operations leadership experience • Logistics, warehouse, production, or customer support operations • Process improvement and documentation • KPI development and performance management • Experience working with distributed and international teams Engagement: • Contract position • Approximately 3-5 hours per week initially • Flexible schedule • Potential for a longer-term advisory relationship
