Since 2014, we’ve provided flexible full-service marketing services and support for clients all over the globe. Our collaboration with marketing teams encourages CEO’s, and VP’s and Directors of Marketing to act more nimbly and stand toe-to-toe against their competition. Brass Animals is a one-of-a-kind musical experience that combines traditional New Orleans-style brass band music with modern hits. Our troupes have performed at a wide range of events and have collaborated with notable clients like the Chicago Blackhawks, Good Day Chicago, Google, Salesforce, and Marriott International. We are seeking a high-output, execution-focused Operations & Finance Manager to bring structure, visibility, and accountability across Interrupt Media. This role owns the day-to-day operational and financial systems of the business, ensuring: -Clear visibility into revenue, margin, and utilization -Consistent execution of workflows and SOPs -Accurate reporting across all departments This is a hands-on operator role, not executive support and not high-level strategy. The focus is building systems, enforcing process, and ensuring execution. Core Responsibilities 1. Financial Operations & Visibility -Track client-level revenue, costs, and gross margin -Maintain accurate financial dashboards (revenue, utilization, profitability) -Ensure accuracy across billing, invoicing, and time tracking (Accelo, Asana) -Support budgeting and forecasting processes -Monitor cash flow and proactively flag risks 2. Operational Systems & SOPs -Build, document, and enforce SOPs across departments -Standardize workflows across Marketing, Client Services, and Operations -Identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements -Ensure consistency across all tools and systems 3. Resource Planning & Utilization -Track team utilization and capacity across accounts -Ensure proper resource allocation aligned with delivery and margin goals -Flag over/under-utilization and recommend adjustments 4. Reporting & Performance Visibility -Deliver weekly and monthly performance reporting -Build and maintain an executive KPI dashboard -Surface risks, blockers, and performance gaps early 5. Automation & Systems Integration -Implement automation across workflows (Claude, Loveable, Glean, Make, Airtable, GHL, etc.) -Reduce manual work through system design -Ensure data consistency across platforms 6. Cross-Functional Execution -Act as the operational bridge between Sales, Marketing, Client Services, and Finance -Ensure leadership priorities are executed on time -Track key initiatives and ensure follow-through across teams What Success Looks Like (First 60 Days) -Clear visibility into revenue, margin, and utilization -Standardized and documented workflows across key processes -Accurate and consistent reporting systems in place -Reduced operational inefficiencies and manual work through the development of AI apps and agents that enhance the work productivity of our team -Leadership has real-time clarity into business performance Tools / Systems Claude Code / Claude, Loveable, Glean, Accelo, Asana, Salesforce, Airtable, Make.com, GHL, Google Workspace Qualifications -3–6+ years in Operations, RevOps, or Finance Operations -Experience in agency or service-based business models -Strong understanding of revenue, margin, and utilization tracking -Highly organized and process-driven -Comfortable working in fast-paced, evolving environments AI-forward mindset (automation, systems thinking) -Proficiency with Claude Code or the ability to become proficient quickly is required. Candidates should be comfortable using AI-assisted development and automation tools to build workflows, document processes, and improve operational efficiency.
