Operations Manager– Wholesale Distribution

Peacock Wholesale | Full-Time | Remote Peacock Wholesale is a growing wholesale distribution business and we are looking for an Operations Manager to run the heart of our operation. This role owns the full order lifecycle, from the moment an order is created to the point it is delivered and financially closed. You will be the person vendors, logistics partners, and the customer support team turn to when something needs resolving. You report directly to the Founder and you will have real authority to make decisions every day. What you will be doing You will manage order fulfillment across the entire supply chain, oversee vendor assignment and performance, monitor order margins, and clear the daily approvals queue covering catalog, pricing, and vendor onboarding. You will run the team stand-up each morning, own the exception log, and escalate anything critical to the Founder within SLA. What we are looking for We need someone who has run operations in a product or distribution business before. You are comfortable in a system-driven environment, you take ownership of outcomes rather than just tasks, and you stay calm when things go sideways. Experience working with order management systems and a track record of hitting fulfillment KPIs are important. Financial awareness matters here too since you will be signing off on vendor payouts above threshold. The targets you will be held to Order fulfillment above 95 percent, on-time delivery above 92 percent, vendor response acknowledged within 24 hours, and all P1 exceptions resolved and escalated within 4 hours. What you will work with ClickUp for exception tracking and task management, an Own ERP OMS for order and vendor management, and cross-functional teams across Finance, Vendor Relations, Quality, and Customer Support.
