Operator Outreach & Onboarding Specialist

Ripr is an adventure sports discovery app that connects travellers with the best local operators across surfing, scuba diving, kitesurfing, paragliding, skydiving, sailing, snow sports, and trekking. We are building the supply side of the platform, verified local operators in destinations across Asia Pacific, Europe, Africa, and the Americas. We are looking for an outreach specialist to contact operators directly, get them listed on Ripr, and build the relationship so they become long-term partners on the platform. What you will do Research and identify operators at target destinations using Google, Instagram, Facebook, and local directories Make first contact via WhatsApp, email, or direct message introduce Ripr and explain the value of a free listing Follow up consistently until the operator responds, most will need 2-3 touchpoints Collect operator information using a standard form we provide ie name, description, contact details, services offered, languages spoken Submit completed operator profiles to us for review and upload Track all outreach in a shared spreadsheet - contact made, response, status, follow-up date Flag operators who are interested in a deeper partnership or who ask questions you cannot answer What you will not do Hard sell or pressure operators, this is relationship outreach, not sales Make promises about features or timelines we have not confirmed The ideal candidate Has worked in travel, adventure sports, or tourism in some capacity. Understands what a kite school or dive centre actually does day to day. Can talk to a surf instructor in a way that feels authentic rather than corporate. Comfortable with WhatsApp as a primary communication tool - most operators in Asia and Africa respond on WhatsApp, not email. Organised enough to track 50-100 active outreach threads without losing anyone. Fluent in English. Comfortable working independently with clear targets rather than close supervision. Deliverables Minimum 20 verified operator profiles submitted per week Outreach tracker updated daily Weekly summary of responses, rejections, and interesting conversations Engagement Starting with a 4-week trial at an agreed hourly or per-operator rate. Strong performers move to an ongoing engagement. We are building this out across multiple sports and regions so there is long-term work for the right person.
