Outbound Sales Specialist

Let's skip the corporate fluff. We're looking for someone who can help build and execute outbound sales systems that generate real conversations and real opportunities. This is not a passive SDR role. This is not a "send a few emails and log activity" role. This is not a role for someone who needs a script for every situation. We need someone who understands outbound sales, can think strategically, and isn't afraid to pick up the phone. You'll be working closely with leadership to improve our outbound efforts, generate qualified opportunities, and build systems that make our sales process stronger over time. Some prospects won't respond. Some messaging won't work. Some campaigns will need to be rebuilt from scratch. You're expected to adapt, experiment, and keep moving. What you'll actually be doing: Outbound Sales Execution - Conduct outbound outreach through phone, email, LinkedIn, and other channels - Make cold calls and proactively engage potential clients - Follow up consistently with prospects and move conversations forward - Identify opportunities to re-engage stalled leads - Book qualified meetings for leadership - Maintain accurate CRM records and pipeline visibility - Own daily outbound activity and prospect engagement Sales Strategy & Pipeline Development - Build and refine outbound sales processes and workflows - Create and improve messaging, outreach sequences, and prospecting strategies - Test new approaches and identify what's working and what's not - Recommend improvements to increase response rates and conversion rates - Help establish repeatable systems that can scale as the agency grows - Track pipeline performance and identify areas for optimization Workflow & Communication - Communicate proactively and consistently - Take ownership of projects and outcomes - Follow through without constant reminders - Bring ideas, not just updates - Help leadership build a stronger sales engine instead of simply completing assigned tasks What we're looking for: - Experience in outbound sales, business development, lead generation, or sales development - Demonstrated success generating meetings or opportunities through outbound efforts - Strong cold calling skills and comfort initiating conversations - Experience managing a sales pipeline and CRM - Excellent written and verbal English communication skills - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail - Someone proactive, resourceful, and reliable - Comfortable working independently and making judgment calls - Ability to think strategically while still executing the day-to-day work Bonus: - Experience selling marketing, media, podcasting, creative, or agency services - Experience building outbound systems or sales processes - Experience supporting founders, startups, or small teams - Experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, HubSpot, Apollo, Clay, Instantly, or similar tools - Experience training or mentoring junior sales team members Contract Details: - Part-time contract position (15-25 hours per week) - Remote - Flexible schedule with availability during CST business hours
