Outbound Systems Architect — Review, Diagnose & Rebuild Our Lead Gen Engine
Worldwide
What we do We build AI agents and automation systems for B2B SMEs. Working systems that touch revenue, not strategy decks. Delivery is our strength and our clients stay with us. Where we are We used to run outbound through an outsourced agency. We then brought the function in house with our own sales and lead gen team. Commercially that was the right call. But the system we've built internally isn't at the standard we hold everything else to. There's plenty of activity and not much architecture behind it. No deliberate infrastructure design, no real list strategy, no messaging that has been tested properly against anything. That's a systems problem. I want it solved properly rather than patched. What I'm hiring for Someone who is an operator, not just a strategist. You'll be hands on with me building this thing, and you'll stay with us once it's running. I'm not looking for a set of recommendations I then have to work out how to implement. The engagement runs in five stages. Stage 1. Audit, with me Full review of our current outbound setup, infrastructure, tooling and data Review of what my team is actually doing day to day and where it's breaking down A clear read on what's salvageable and what needs tearing out Your view on what the system should look like instead, and why Stage 2. Build the system, with me Sending infrastructure. Domains, inboxes, warming, deliverability, sending architecture List building. ICP definition, data sources, enrichment, signal based targeting Messaging. Positioning and copy frameworks for our offer, structured so they can be tested Multi channel design. Cold email, cold calling and LinkedIn stacked together rather than run as three disconnected efforts Tooling and workflow, wired up properly Stage 3. Make it operational and prove it works Get the system live and sending Run it end to end and watch what actually happens Fix what breaks, because something always breaks Establish the baseline numbers so we know what normal looks like Stage 4. Optimise and hand over to my team Tighten the system based on real results, not theory Document how it runs, what to watch, and what to do when the numbers move Train my sales and lead gen team to operate it themselves Set the metrics, cadences and accountability structure that keep it holding together Stage 5. Stay with us and scale it Ongoing work with me and the team as we push volume up Solve the problems that only show up at scale Keep improving the messaging, the lists and the channel mix I'd expect the first four stages to be the intensive part, and stage five to be a longer, lighter ongoing arrangement. Open to your view on how it should be structured and priced. Who this is for Someone who has personally built and scaled outbound lead generation systems, several times, over many years and specifically for IT/Tech/AI Agencies. You've already made the infrastructure mistakes. You know why deliverability falls apart at 1000s sends a day. You know which data providers are worth paying for and which ones are selling you recycled scrape. You've written messaging that worked and messaging that didn't, and you can tell me precisely what separated them. You're comfortable being in the tools, not just in the deck. Who this is not for Two or three years of experience. Experience that only covers running someone else's playbook inside someone else's system. Agencies pitching done for you execution where nobody teaches my team anything. Strategists who hand over a plan and disappear. Generic proposals. Surface level knowledge won't survive the first conversation. Your proposal Please don't send a template. Tell me, in detail: 1. A lead gen system you built from scratch. What the business was, what the system looked like end to end, what it produced, and over what period. 2. What broke along the way, whether that was infrastructure, data, messaging or people, and how you fixed it. 3. A time you handed a system over to an internal team. How you did it, and whether it survived. 4. What you'd want to look at first here, based on what I've described. 5. How you'd structure an engagement like this. If your proposal doesn't include a specific, detailed account of a system you built yourself, I won't read it.
