We're a small US-based studio looking for a sharp, self-directed individual (not an agency) to handle publication outreach for our content. The first project is placing a piece of original research. If that goes well we will provide a steady pipeline of other content to pitch, plus general support work if you're interested. What you'd do: Build and maintain a target list of relevant online publications and the correct editor contact for each. Personalize and send outreach from templates we help you write, using an email address on our domain. Track sends and replies in a simple sheet, and run a polite follow-up cadence. Flag responses and hand off anything that needs our input. Recommend content you think we should develop. You are: Based in the USA, working Eastern or Central hours A fluent, natural English writer; your emails need to read like a real person wrote them, they can not be just copy and paste from AI Organized and reliable with follow-through Comfortable doing your own research to find the right contact An individual freelancer, not an agency or reseller Nice to have: General VA experience - we may lean on this over time Any prior outreach, PR, or media-list experience, though it's not required, we'll help you craft the templates and the angles To apply, start your proposal with the word "estate" so I know you read this.
