## PCB Design for a High-Performance Competition Line Follower Robot Hello, I'm looking for an experienced PCB designer to design a **professional, competition-grade PCB** for a high-speed line follower robot. This is not a beginner or educational project—my goal is to build a reliable, expandable, and well-engineered robotics platform. ### Scope of Work Your responsibilities will include: * Review the project requirements and propose improvements where appropriate. * Design the complete electronic schematic based on the project requirements. * Design a compact, lightweight PCB optimized for a competition robot. * Ensure proper power distribution, signal integrity, grounding, and noise reduction. * Optimize the layout for analog sensor accuracy, motor control, and high-speed operation. * Design with good thermal management, manufacturability, and ease of assembly in mind. * Include suitable connectors, test points, protection circuits, and debugging interfaces. * Ensure the PCB is expandable for future hardware and firmware upgrades. * Review the design before finalizing to eliminate possible design issues. ### Deliverables The final deliverables should include: * Complete schematic * PCB layout * KiCad project files * Gerber files * Drill files * Bill of Materials (BOM) * Pick-and-Place files * 3D PCB model (STEP) * Assembly drawings * PDF schematic and PCB documentation ### Expectations I value engineering decisions over simply following instructions. If you identify a better design approach, improved layout, or more suitable implementation, I would appreciate your recommendations along with the reasoning behind them. The PCB should follow professional design practices with emphasis on reliability, electrical performance, and future maintainability rather than simply making the circuit functional. Please share examples of similar robotics, embedded systems, or motor-control PCB projects you have completed. Experience with competition robotics or high-speed embedded systems is a strong advantage. I prefer to work collaboratively, reviewing the schematic before moving to the PCB layout to ensure the final design meets the project's goals.
