PLC/HMI programming of Irrigation Pumping System with Flow-Based Pump Optimization

We are seeking an experienced PLC/HMI programmer to develop a complete control system for an irrigation pumping installation using an AutomationDirect CLICK PLUS PLC, C-more HMI, Yaskawa iQpump1000 VFDs, and Modbus RTU communications. The selected programmer will be responsible for developing the PLC and HMI software and recommending the specific PLC, HMI, communications, and I/O hardware required for the project. ### Hardware Platform The control system shall be based on: * AutomationDirect CLICK PLUS PLC * AutomationDirect C-more HMI * Yaskawa iQpump1000 VFDs * Modbus RTU communications over RS-485 The exact PLC model, expansion modules, communications hardware, and HMI model have not yet been selected. As part of the project, the programmer shall review the application requirements and recommend: * Specific CLICK PLUS CPU model * Required analog input modules * Required digital input/output modules * High-speed pulse counting requirements * RS-485 communications architecture * Power supply requirements * Surge protection and isolation recommendations * Recommended C-more HMI model and screen size * Network topology and wiring recommendations The owner will purchase hardware based on the programmer's recommendations. ### Deliverables Successful completion shall include: * PLC source code * C-more HMI source code * Complete hardware recommendation package * PLC bill of materials * HMI bill of materials * I/O list * Modbus register map * Tag database * Alarm list * Sequence of operation document * Startup and commissioning documentation * Remote commissioning support, if available ### Proposal Requirements When responding, please include: * Experience with AutomationDirect CLICK PLUS PLCs * Experience with C-more HMIs * Experience with Yaskawa iQpump1000 drives * Experience with Modbus RTU integration * Examples of similar pumping, irrigation, or booster station projects * Preliminary hardware recommendations * Estimated programming timeline * Estimated commissioning support availability
