Part-Time Accountant (US-Based) with Nonprofit Experience

We're looking for a part-time accountant based in the United States who has hands-on experience with nonprofit organizations. This is an ongoing, remote role with light, flexible hours. What you'll do: Maintain books and prepare monthly financial statements in QuickBooks Handle nonprofit-specific reporting (restricted vs. unrestricted funds, grant tracking, functional expense allocation) Assist with budgeting and reconciliations Support year-end prep and any audit or Form 990 requirements What we're looking for: US-based, with a strong grasp of US nonprofit accounting and GAAP Prior experience supporting nonprofit clients or organizations Proficient in QuickBooks Comfortable working independently and communicating clearly
