Accountant for Diva Spa | Monthly Bookkeeping, Accounting Software Setup and Financial Reporting

Project Overview Diva Spa is a home-service spa business operating in Riyadh. We are looking for an accountant to manage our bookkeeping, organize our financial records, set up an accounting system that matches our business operations, and provide clear financial reports and performance indicators. This engagement will begin with a review and accounting of our historical data for May 2026, followed by ongoing accounting work for June 2026 onward. Scope of Work 1. Historical Accounting for May 2026 The accountant will review and process all available financial transactions for May 2026. This initial month will be used to understand Diva Spa’s operational and financial process, including sales, expenses, payments, staff-related costs, and any other relevant transactions. The objective is to complete May’s records accurately and prepare a suitable accounting process for the current month and the remaining contract period. 2. Accounting Software Setup The accountant will set up the agreed accounting software and configure it to reflect Diva Spa’s actual business processes. This includes, where applicable: Setting up the chart of accounts Organizing revenue categories by services or relevant sales channels Organizing business expense categories Reflecting payment methods, such as bank transfers, cash, or other methods used by the business Setting up a practical process for recording daily transactions Ensuring the software can support the required monthly and weekly reports 3. KPIs and Financial Reports The accountant will identify and propose the key financial KPIs and reports that Diva Spa should monitor on a weekly and monthly basis. These may include: Revenue and sales performance Operating expenses Net profit or loss Cash flow position Outstanding payments, if applicable Revenue by service, therapist, payment method, or other relevant categories Any additional indicators that support management decision-making The accountant is expected to recommend the reporting structure and frequency based on Diva Spa’s business model. 4. Daily Transaction Review and Bookkeeping The accountant will review and record transactions on a daily basis throughout the contract period to ensure that the accounting records remain accurate and up to date. This includes reviewing supporting records shared by Diva Spa, classifying transactions correctly, identifying missing information or discrepancies, and keeping the accounting software updated. Deliverables The expected deliverables include: Completed accounting records for May 2026 Accounting software fully set up and aligned with Diva Spa’s operations Proposed list of weekly and monthly financial KPIs and reports Ongoing daily bookkeeping and transaction review for the contract period Weekly or monthly financial reports, based on the agreed reporting schedule Identification of missing records, errors, or issues requiring management attention Agreed upon weekly meetings Contract Terms Contract Type: Fixed monthly contract Monthly Fee: USD 250 Contract Duration: 3 months Total Contract Value: USD 750 Start of Work: Accounting review and processing of May 2026 historical data, followed by ongoing work for June 2026 and the remaining contract period Expectations The accountant should be organized, accurate, responsive, and able to recommend a practical accounting and reporting process suitable for a growing home-service business.
