Part-Time Brand Content Creator (20 Hours/Week) Throwback Kitchen About Throwback Kitchen Throwback Kitchen is a nostalgia-driven dessert brand built around a simple concept: Childhood Favorites, Reimagined. Through limited-edition weekly drops, we recreate the snacks, treats, and food experiences that defined childhood for Millennials and 90s kids. From Strawberry Shortcake Bars and Cosmic Brownies to Pop-Tarts, SunnyD, and Dunkaroos, we transform nostalgic favorites into premium desserts and ice cream collections. Our goal is not simply to sell ice cream. We are building a brand and community centered around nostalgia, memories, and shared experiences. The core of our business is The Throwback List, our subscriber community that receives early access to weekly drops, collection reveals, special offers, and exclusive content. We are looking for a creative individual who can help us grow that community through engaging social media content. ________________________________________ Position Overview We are seeking a Part-Time Brand Content Creator to help execute and eventually help develop Throwback Kitchen’s social media strategy. This is not a traditional social media manager role. Initially, Throwback Kitchen will provide the content strategy, content calendar, campaign themes, and weekly objectives. Your responsibility will be to transform those ideas into high-quality social media content, schedule the content, engage with our audience, and help grow our subscriber base. Over time, we expect the role to evolve into a larger strategic position where the creator contributes content ideas, campaign concepts, and broader social media planning. This position begins at approximately 20 hours per week and is intended to become a long-term relationship with the opportunity to grow into a full-time role as the business scales. ________________________________________ Primary Objective The primary objective of this role is: Grow The Throwback List Everything we do on social media should ultimately drive followers to subscribe to The Throwback List. Success is not measured by likes alone. Success is measured by: • Subscriber Growth • Engagement • Reach • Community Growth • Website Traffic • Cost Per Subscriber (when advertising) ________________________________________ Expected Weekly Workflow Monday Throwback Kitchen provides: • Content themes • Content calendar • Collection information • Promotions • Calls to action for the following week’s content. ________________________________________ Tuesday & Wednesday Content Creator: • Creates graphics • Creates short-form videos • Creates reels • Edits content • Selects music • Creates captions • Schedules content using our social media management platform. Expected effort: Approximately 12-15 hours. ________________________________________ Daily Engagement Approximately 1 hour per day: • Responding to comments • Liking and engaging with relevant accounts • Following appropriate accounts • Monitoring engagement • Helping build community Expected effort: Approximately 5 hours per week. ________________________________________ Content Types Content may include: Short-Form Video • Instagram Reels • TikTok Videos • YouTube Shorts Static Graphics • Polls • Questions • Collection Reveals • Flavor Spotlights • Subscriber Promotions Carousel Posts • Collection Features • Storytelling Posts • Nostalgia Content Community Content • Comments • Polls • Questions • Audience Interaction ________________________________________ Platforms Content will be published to: • Instagram • Facebook • TikTok • YouTube • Google Business Profile Applicants should understand the content formats, dimensions, and best practices for each platform. ________________________________________ Advertising Experience Our best-performing posts will occasionally be boosted using paid advertising.
