Part-Time Executive Assistant | Project Management + Operations | Remote

I'm a serial entrepreneur and economic development strategist managing multiple ventures across Atlanta and Denver. I need a sharp, self-directed Executive Assistant who doesn't wait to be told what to do next — someone who takes a stuck project, figures out what it needs, and moves it to done. This starts up to 10 hours per week with clear room to grow for the right person. You'll be supporting three of my brands: Jice Johnson Co. (thought leadership and speaking), A-Tribe Adventures (family travel and children's brand), and JM Johnson RE (real estate investment). What You'll Actually Be Doing: You are a project closer and operations coordinator. Your job is to take things from stuck to done — without me managing the process. Specifically: Project Management: - Identify what a stalled project needs — vendor, formatting, platform, pricing — source it, manage it, and bring me a decision, not a status update - Find and vet freelancers or service providers, get quotes, present options - Manage vendor relationships through to completion and final approval Example: Our children's book needs formatting before it can be uploaded for sale. Your job is to find the formatter, get pricing, manage the project, and hand me a finished product ready for my final approval and launch Operations: - Inbox management for three brands — draft responses in my voice, queue for my approval before anything goes out - Calendar management — schedule within protected parameters, flag conflicts - Track and complete vendor and partner applications once opportunities are identified - Ensure inventory, logistics, and calendar alignment for events and product launches - Admin tasks — subscriptions, receipts, follow-ups, keeping things from falling through cracks Content + Sales Support: - Newsletter production support — take my drafts or notes and build them into publish-ready format - Sales follow-up execution — once leads are identified, help execute outreach sequences - Support media kit and brand kit build-out — project manage the pieces I identify - Research support as directed You Are the Right Person If: - You've supported a founder or executive before and know how to protect their time - You figure things out — when something is unclear, you solve it and report back, you don't pause and wait - You communicate in clear, scannable messages — no novels, no vague updates - You can write in someone else's voice after studying their style - You are organized enough that nothing falls through the cracks and proactive enough to flag things before they become problems - You're comfortable working across multiple brands with different audiences Tools We Use: - Monday.com — all project and task management - Slack — daily communication and approvals - Google Workspace — docs, calendar, drive - Substack, YouTube, Eventbrite, TenantCloud — depending on the brand - Canva, Riverside, Opus Clip How to Apply: In your proposal, answer these two questions specifically — applications without both answers will not be reviewed: 1. Describe a time you took a stalled or unclear project and moved it to completion without being directed step by step. What did you do? 2. Describe your experience managing someone else's inbox and calendar. What systems did you use to stay organized? Rate range: $12-$15/hr depending on experience. Up to 10 hrs/week with growth opportunity.
