Part-Time Marketing & Content Assistant (Remote, 5 Hours/Week)
Worldwide
Hello! I'm Malhar, an applied sport and performance psychology consultant specializing primarily in tennis players and parents. My work focuses on helping athletes perform in matches and tournaments using evidence-based psychological skills—not motivational fluff. Over the past few years I've been building an educational brand with a growing audience. Current assets include: Website: https://malimentalperformance.com YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@malimentalperformance Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/malimentalperformance Email list with approximately 1,500 subscribers My goal is simple: consistently publish thoughtful educational content that genuinely helps athletes and parents. I'm looking for someone who can help me keep that momentum going while I balance another full-time leadership role. About the Role This is not a social media strategy role. It can evolve into that if required. Right now, I create the ideas, write much of the content, and record the videos. I'm looking for someone who enjoys taking rough ideas (voice notes, outlines, transcripts, or drafts) and turning them into polished, publish-ready content. The ideal person enjoys creating systems, is highly organized, has excellent attention to detail, and wants to become a long-term part of a growing business. Responsibilities - Design clean, premium Instagram and LinkedIn carousel posts in Canva from outlines or copy I provide (think Steve Magnus' style of educational content). - Repurpose long-form YouTube videos into short-form content using Descript (or be willing to learn). - Repurpose blogs and long-form writing into short-form content and instagram carousels (steve magness style is okay!) - Schedule social media posts. - Build and format weekly email communication inside GoHighLevel. * Probably the highest ROI area. - Help build and organize automated email sequences. Probably another high ROI area for me. This is where I'd wanna start. - Proofread and lightly edit emails and social posts while maintaining my writing style. -Create simple graphics, PDFs, and other marketing assets in Canva. -Upload blog posts and make occasional website updates. -Organize marketing assets in Google Drive. -Suggest small improvements to workflows and systems when appropriate. Required Skills -Excellent written English. -Strong attention to detail. -Canva proficiency. - Use of LLM's to increase efficiency -Comfortable learning new software. -Reliable communication. -Highly organized and dependable. Bonus Skills These aren't required, but they're definitely a plus: -Strong copywriting or editing skills. -Ability to write in a consistent brand voice. -Experience with Descript. -Experience with GoHighLevel/CC360. -Basic understanding of social media marketing. Hours Approximately 5 hours per week to start. Flexible schedule. Potential for additional hours as the business grows. My Publishing Goals I'd love your help maintaining a consistent publishing rhythm across the business. This includes things like: -One YouTube video every two weeks. -Weekly educational email newsletter. -Multiple Instagram and LinkedIn carousel posts each week. -Repurposing long-form content into multiple smaller pieces. -Helping keep everything organized and running smoothly. Who I'm Looking For -I'm much more interested in finding someone who is intelligent, reliable, curious, and proactive than someone with years of agency experience. -If you're the type of person who enjoys figuring things out, improving systems, and helping a small business grow over the long term, I'd love to hear from you. -This isn't about chasing trends or creating viral content. -It's about creating genuinely useful educational material that helps people. To Apply Please answer just 2 of the following questions: -Tell me about a content or marketing project you've worked on that you're proud of. -Which software are you most comfortable using? (Canva, ChatGPT, Descript, GoHighLevel/CC360, etc.) -Imagine I send you a 15-minute voice note with ideas for an email newsletter. Walk me through how you'd turn that into a finished, publish-ready email. -If I gave you a YouTube video and asked you to create three educational carousel posts from it, how would you approach that? Please include the words "Mental Skills" at the beginning of your application so I know you've read the full job description. Please also include 2–3 examples of Canva work, social media posts, or other content you've created. I'm looking for someone I'd love to keep working with for years as the business continues to grow.
