Part-Time Marketing Strategist to Manage Law Firm Social, Video, Website, YouTube & Email Campaigns We are a law firm looking for a part-time Marketing Strategist / Campaign Manager to help oversee and coordinate our outsourced marketing team. This is not a basic social media posting role. We are looking for a strategic, organized marketing professional who can act as the “traffic controller” for our marketing efforts across social media, short-form video, websites, YouTube, and email marketing. The right person will help make sure our content is coordinated, consistent, lead-focused, and tied to real business goals. About the Role You will oversee and coordinate three outsourced team members: 1. Social Media Community Engagement & Intake Support Specialist 2. Short-Form Video Editor for Law Firm Client-Acquisition Content 3. Website SEO GEO & AEO Specialist Your job is to make sure these team members are not working in disconnected silos. You will set priorities, manage the marketing calendar, assign tasks, review performance, coordinate campaigns, and provide weekly reporting with recommendations. We want someone who can help turn marketing ideas into organized weekly execution. Primary Responsibilities 1. Marketing Strategy and Campaign Coordination You will help plan and manage campaigns for the firm’s legal services, including areas such as: * Criminal defense * DWI defense * State post-conviction relief * Federal post-conviction relief * Appeals * Wills * Probate * Estate planning * Other approved legal services You will help decide how each campaign should be supported through social posts, short-form videos, website updates, YouTube content, and email marketing. 2. Master Marketing Calendar You will own and maintain the master marketing calendar. The calendar should include: * Public social media posts * Private Facebook Group posts * Short-form videos * YouTube videos and Shorts * Website updates * Blog posts * Email campaigns * Practice-area campaigns * Due dates * Responsible team member * Approval status * Published links * Performance notes 3. Oversight of Social Media Community Engagement You will provide direction to the Social Media Community Engagement & Intake Support Specialist. This person is responsible for moderation, posting support, comment monitoring, canned responses, lead identification, and future Facebook chat scheduling support. You will provide: * Weekly posting direction * Approved captions or caption guidance * Private Facebook Group posting priorities * Comment monitoring priorities * Canned response guidance * Lead escalation rules * Reporting expectations You will review whether social media comments, private group activity, and messages are being handled professionally and whether potential leads are being identified and escalated properly. 4. Oversight of Short-Form Video Editor You will provide editorial direction to the Short-Form Video Editor for Law Firm Client-Acquisition Content. The video editor owns editing quality, pacing, captions, audio, formatting, and final packaging. You own the content direction, hooks, legal topic selection, campaign alignment, and call to action. You will provide: * Video topics * Target audience * Practice area focus * Approved hooks * Desired call to action * Posting priority * Deadline * Revision feedback The goal of our short-form videos is client acquisition and brand authority. We are not looking for random office content, staff birthday posts, or general lifestyle content. Videos should be tied to legal-service-driven hooks and the problems potential clients are facing. 5. Oversight of Website SEO GEO & AEO Specialist You will coordinate priorities for the Website SEO GEO & AEO Specialist. We have multiple law firm websites, including a general firm site, a DWI site, a wills/probate site, and a post-conviction relief site. You will help prioritize: * Website updates * Practice area pages * Blog topics * FAQ content * Internal linking * SEO improvements * Generative Engine Optimization * Answer Engine Optimization * Content clarity * Entity consistency * Pages that need attorney review Our goal is to make our brand and content easy for search engines, answer engines, and Large Language Models to read, verify, and cite. 6. YouTube Channel Oversight You will also help oversee three YouTube channels: 1. Texas State Post-Conviction YouTube Channel 2. Federal Post-Conviction YouTube Channel 3. Blizzard & Zimmerman Law Firm YouTube Channel You will help determine: * Which videos belong on which channel * Titles * Descriptions * Calls to action * Playlist organization * Posting priorities * YouTube Shorts strategy * How videos connect to website content and social campaigns YouTube should be treated as a search and authority platform, not just a place to store videos. 7. ActiveCampaign Email Marketing You will help manage our ActiveCampaign email marketing. Responsibilities may include: * Planning email campaigns * Drafting or coordinating email copy * Updating automations * Segmenting audiences * Coordinating email with social, video, and website campaigns * Reviewing open rates, click rates, replies, unsubscribes, and conversions * Recommending new email campaigns and nurture sequences Email campaigns should move prospects toward a clear next step, such as scheduling a free case review, reading a helpful page, watching an educational video, or re-engaging with the firm. 8. Weekly Reporting You will provide a weekly report that includes: * Work completed * Social media activity * Private Facebook Group activity * Video production and performance * YouTube performance * Website SEO/GEO/AEO progress * ActiveCampaign email performance * Potential leads identified * Issues or risks * Recommendations for the following week We do not want reporting that simply lists numbers. We want someone who can explain what the numbers mean and what we should do next. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate has experience with: * Digital marketing strategy * Campaign management * Content calendars * Social media marketing * Short-form video strategy * YouTube optimization * SEO content planning * Email marketing * ActiveCampaign or similar platforms * Managing freelancers or outsourced staff * Professional services marketing Law firm marketing experience is strongly preferred but not required if you understand regulated or professional services marketing.
