Part-Time Outreach Specialist

About us: Hedgi is AI-powered bookkeeping built by a practicing CPA. Our software does the books overnight and the accountant reviews in minutes. We are growing through bookkeepers and small accounting firms, and we need someone to start the conversations. The role: This is simple, high-impact outreach. You find bookkeepers and small accounting firms, send them a genuinely useful offer (we clean up a few of their worst backlog clients for free, no strings), and hand the interested ones to our team. You are not cold-pitching software. You are offering to take work off a drowning bookkeeper's plate. That makes this a friendly job, not a pushy one. You will: Build target lists of bookkeepers and small firms from public sources we will show you (QuickBooks ProAdvisor directory, Google Maps, state society directories, accounting Facebook groups, and a data tool if we provide one). Send our outreach emails (we give you the templates) and do light, respectful follow-up. No nagging. We will train you on exactly who to target and when. Qualify replies (bookkeepers with monthly clients and a real backlog) and pass the good ones to our team to close. Keep everything tracked in a simple spreadsheet or CRM. Optional, if you want more hours: schedule our short marketing videos to our social accounts. You are: Organized, persistent, and reliable. You can work a list without losing track. A clear, natural writer in English. You can make an email sound human, not like a sales robot. Comfortable with email, spreadsheets, and basic web research. Bonus: any familiarity with bookkeeping, accounting, or B2B outreach or SDR work. Not required, we will train. Logistics: Part-time, roughly 15 to 20 hours a week, remote, contractor. Pay: $20 to $30 per hour depending on experience, plus a bonus for each qualified bookkeeper who books a call. [Adjust to taste.] Reports to Jon. Flexible hours.
