Part-Time Sales Setter for Australian Company: Hourly + Commission South - Africa Based

About us Wonderful Stay is a Australia-based Airbnb Management company. We currently have 30+ units, 3 years operating and 1,000+ Review. Potential customers enquire with us every day; your job is to be the first voice they hear. The role You will be our Lead Triage Specialist (appointment setter). When a lead enquires, you call them back fast, ideally within 15 minutes, qualify them against our criteria, and book the good ones onto a call with our Acquisition Manager. You are not doing cold calls and you are not closing deals; every person you speak to has already asked us to contact them. You follow a proven, word-for-word call script and a simple follow-up process (confirmation text, email templates, calendar invite). Full training provided. Day to day, you will: * Call new inbound leads within minutes of their enquiry * Run a structured qualification call (roughly 10 minutes) covering their situation, motivation, goals and timeline * Book qualified leads into our Acquisition Manager's calendar, with all decision-makers confirmed for the call * Send confirmation texts/WhatsApps and templated emails straight after each booking * Follow up with leads who did not answer, via calls, text and email sequences * Keep simple notes on every lead so nothing slips through the cracks Hours and pay * Part-time and flexible; hours flex with lead flow rather than a fixed shift * You must be available and reachable during agreed daytime windows Australian business hours; 9 am - 12 pm Cape Town time = 5 pm - 8 pm AUS time, so leads get called back within 15 minutes. * Paid hourly (state your rate or invite proposals) plus commission for every booked call that shows up, so the better you are, the more you earn * Perfect around a University Students schedule; this is why we are specifically looking for University Students in South Africa You are a great fit if you: * Are University Student in South Africa * Speak fluent, clear, confident English on the phone * Are comfortable making phone calls and can follow a script while still sounding natural and human * Are organised and reliable; call-backs happen at the exact time promised, follow-ups always get sent * Have a quiet space to take calls, a decent headset/phone and stable internet * Are coachable; we will train you on the script, review your calls and help you improve * Bonus (not required): any experience in sales, customer service, telesales, promotions, hospitality or fundraising What you get * Hourly pay plus uncapped commission on attended booked calls * A proven script and full training; you are set up to win from day one * Real sales experience with a growing Australian company, great on any CV * Flexible hours *The opportunity to grow with us as we scale How to apply So we know you have read this far, start your proposal with the word AIRBNB, then answer these three: Tell us about yourself and your current situation (e.g. which university, what you study) In 2 or 3 sentences, why do you think you would be good on the phone with Australian customers?
