Summary

We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Salesforce Administrator to support and improve our existing multi-region Salesforce environment while we evaluate our longer-term CRM strategy. This is a part-time execution role for someone who can quickly understand an existing Salesforce instance, configure practical enhancements, create useful dashboards, improve data quality and support sales teams without overengineering the system. You will work with our Program Lead and sales leadership team to ensure Salesforce provides clear visibility over customer activity, opportunities, pipeline, follow-ups and campaign performance. Key responsibilities *Review and document the current Salesforce environment. *Configure reports, dashboards, list views, fields and page layouts. *Create simple flows, validation rules and notifications. *Improve opportunity stages, pipeline visibility and next-action tracking. *Build dashboards for sales activity, regional performance and opportunity management. *Support a 90-day account-based sales and marketing program. *Improve account, contact and parent-child data quality. *Review case and enquiry routing. *Create reports identifying missing data, overdue follow-ups and pipeline gaps. *Maintain a formal change log and configuration register. *Provide short user guides and practical support to internal users. *Document processes that would need to be preserved in any future CRM transition. Required experience *At least three years of hands-on Salesforce administration experience. *Strong experience with Sales Cloud configuration. *Advanced report and dashboard creation skills. *Experience with fields, page layouts, permissions, validation rules and Flow. *Experience managing account and contact data quality. *Understanding of parent-child account hierarchies. *Experience supporting sales representatives and sales managers. *Ability to translate business requirements into simple Salesforce solutions. *Strong written and spoken English. *Ability to overlap regularly with Sydney business hours. *Disciplined approach to testing, documentation and change control. Preferred experience Experience with Salesforce Cases or customer-service workflows. Experience in industrial, mining, distribution, parts or B2B sales environments. Understanding of external-sales and inside-sales operating models. Familiarity with Outlook integration, Power BI, NetSuite or ERP environments. Experience preparing Salesforce environments for CRM migration or consolidation. Salesforce certifications are helpful but practical capability is more important. This is not A full Salesforce implementation. A custom development role. An Apex or Lightning Web Component project. A major integration project. A strategy-only consulting engagement. We need someone who can personally complete the configuration and reporting work. Initial engagement Approximately 8–12 hours per week. Initial 12-week contract. Potential for ongoing support. Work will be prioritised through an agreed change register. Significant changes must be approved before implementation.
