Payroll Remediation Worksheet Verification (AU CPA/CA/IPA/BAS Agent Only)

I am a CPA practice principal seeking an independent accounting/payroll professional to perform a limited-scope verification of a finalised payroll remediation spreadsheet. The legal methodology, Fair Work classification logic, award assumptions and remediation model have already been prepared and will be lawyer-approved. This engagement is not to provide legal advice, determine award coverage, decide worker classification, or perform a forensic audit. Scope of work - Review approximately 350 spreadsheet payment lines against supporting invoices/payment records grouped by worker and pay date (see attached worksheet sample and supporting documents) - Confirm the spreadsheet accurately reflects the source payment records. - Confirm formulas, interest calculations, foreign exchange treatment, prior payments/credits and final worker-level outputs are arithmetically correct. - Identify any errors or exceptions in the Notes column and/or a short exceptions schedule. - Issue a signed letter of verification on professional letterhead using the supplied template, or propose amendments to the wording. Legal methodology The legal assumptions, award coverage, classification levels, hours assumptions and bonus/credit treatment will be supplied as approved inputs. You are not required to assess or approve those legal assumptions. Requirements - Australian CPA, CA, IPA member, or registered BAS agent - Must have demonstrated payroll reconciliation experience. Please provide a short bio and examples of similar work. - Able to provide services independently and at arm’s length. - Able to issue a professional letter on firm letterhead (see attached template) - Strong spreadsheet, payroll reconciliation and source-document checking skills. - Xero/MYOB/payroll reporting experience preferred. Timeline Completion within 8 calendar days is required. A $500 completion bonus will be paid if the work is completed within 4 business days of receiving the full data pack, including any errors or exceptions identified, corrections agreed, and the verification letter issued, provided the review is properly completed. The bonus is payable regardless of whether errors or exceptions are identified. Please state your fixed fee, turnaround time, qualifications and proposed review approach.
