Summary

Nomad Content Studio is a fast-growing content agency that helps automotive dealerships create high-performing social media content, paid ad creative, and short-form video campaigns. We are looking for an experienced freelance Performance Creative Strategist & Copywriter to support our team on an ongoing, project-based basis. The work will involve analyzing successful content, developing new creative concepts, writing scripts and ad copy, and helping translate strong ideas into clear, executable campaigns for our clients. This is not a basic copywriting assignment. We are looking for someone who understands social media, hooks, paid advertising, creative strategy, direct-response copy, and how to use AI tools to improve speed without sacrificing originality or quality. Scope of Work Depending on current client needs, assignments may include: Analyzing high-performing organic posts and paid ads to identify why they worked Turning winning concepts into multiple variations for different dealerships, brands, offers, and platforms Writing short-form video scripts for Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, and paid campaigns Writing Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and other digital ad copy Developing hooks, captions, headlines, campaign angles, LinkedIn posts, and X posts Reviewing client content, competitor activity, performance updates, and industry trends for new creative opportunities Creating repeatable creative frameworks, templates, swipe files, and concept variations Collaborating with our writers, editors, videographers, account managers, and leadership team Occasionally communicating creative concepts or execution requirements to clients Helping organize the details needed to execute certain concepts, such as props, products, talking points, dealership information, or items that need to be shipped Typical Deliverables Projects may be assigned individually or in recurring batches and could include: Short-form video scripts Paid ad concepts and copy Hook and headline variations Social media captions LinkedIn and X-style posts Creative briefs Campaign concepts Content performance breakdowns Variations of proven creative ideas Client-specific creative recommendations The volume and turnaround expectations will be agreed upon before each assignment or project batch. What We’re Looking For Strong copywriting ability across scripts, ads, hooks, captions, and social posts A clear understanding of what makes organic content perform Experience with paid ad creative, including hooks, angles, offers, and direct-response copy The ability to take one successful idea and develop multiple original variations Experience writing natural, conversational content that feels native to each platform Comfort using AI tools for research, ideation, rewriting, and variation development Strong creative judgment and attention to detail The ability to think strategically rather than simply complete writing assignments Strong communication and collaboration skills The ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and make revisions quickly Comfort working across multiple client accounts and creative projects Nice to Have Automotive or dealership experience Agency, media, or advertising experience Experience writing Meta ad copy or TikTok ad scripts Experience with short-form video content Experience ghostwriting LinkedIn or X content Experience reviewing creative performance data Experience collaborating with videographers, editors, account managers, or creative teams Experience building creative systems, templates, frameworks, or swipe files This Project Is a Good Fit If You can explain why a viral or high-performing video worked You can turn one winning concept into 10 distinct variations You write sharp, natural copy without relying on generic AI phrasing You understand that AI supports creative judgment rather than replacing it You can work quickly while maintaining quality You proactively identify creative opportunities You can communicate concepts clearly to both internal teams and clients You enjoy identifying trends, patterns, angles, and new campaign opportunities You are comfortable balancing creative thinking with organization and execution This Project May Not Be a Fit If You require a detailed brief for every assignment You are only interested in traditional long-form copywriting You submit unedited or generic AI-generated copy You have little interest in social media, short-form content, or advertising You are uncomfortable collaborating with clients or creative teams You struggle to manage multiple deadlines or assignments Contract Structure This is an ongoing freelance opportunity with work assigned based on current projects and client needs. It is not an employee position, and the selected freelancer will control how and where the work is completed, provided agreed-upon deadlines and deliverables are met.
