Performance Management Consultant to Operationalise KPIs and Align Business Metrics

We are looking for an experienced performance management consultant to help us refine, validate, and operationalise a KPI framework for an employee performance management platform. This is not a software development role. The consultant will work with our solution architect and delivery team to ensure that the defined KPIs are business-aligned, measurable, weighted correctly, and configured properly in the system. We already have draft KPIs, including some that were generated with AI, but they need to be reviewed, de-duplicated, rationalised, and translated into a structured operational framework. The right person will help us turn abstract performance ideas into a practical, defensible framework that can be implemented in software. What You Will Do Review and rationalise existing KPIs Identify duplicated, vague, or misaligned metrics Ensure every KPI is aligned to a real business objective Work with the architect and project team to facilitate KPI workshops Define how each KPI should be measured Map KPIs to appropriate weights Define scoring logic and rating bands Ensure the KPI configuration is usable in the target system Help establish a governance and approval framework Support the translation of business objectives into system-ready rules Ideal Candidate You should have experience in one or more of the following: performance management KPI design and operationalisation scorecard frameworks HR metrics business process improvement management consulting organisational effectiveness workforce performance frameworks Experience in an African business context is a plus, but not required.
