Podcast Editor / Content Repurposing Specialist for Real Estate & Mortgage Podcast

I’m looking for someone to help manage the post-production and content repurposing side of my podcast. I record my podcast episodes in Descript, and I already have the content, guests, and conversations handled. What I need is someone who can help with the “bones” of the podcast — editing, clips, transcripts, SEO, and helping us maximize each episode across multiple platforms. This podcast is focused on real estate, mortgage, first-time home buyers, financial education, and conversations with professionals in the industry. Responsibilities: Edit full podcast episodes in Descript Clean up audio and video where needed Remove filler words, long pauses, mistakes, and unnecessary sections Help tighten up the episode while keeping the conversation natural Create short-form clips for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, TikTok, and social media Identify the best moments/hooks from each episode Add captions/subtitles to clips Create clean transcripts from each episode Format transcripts so they can be added to our website/blog Help with SEO-friendly titles, descriptions, keywords, and episode summaries Suggest clip titles/hooks that can perform well on social media Potentially help organize the content calendar for clips and posts Ideal Candidate: Experienced with Descript Strong podcast editing experience Understands how to create engaging short-form clips Good ear for conversational content Can identify strong hooks and valuable moments Understands basic SEO for podcasts, YouTube, and website/blog content Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented Bonus if you have experience with real estate, mortgage, finance, or educational content What I’m Looking For: I don’t need someone to create the content from scratch. I already have the right people to record with and the right conversations. I need someone who can help take each episode and turn it into multiple valuable assets: A clean full podcast episode Short clips for social media Website transcript/blog content SEO-friendly descriptions and titles Organized content that helps us get more reach from every episode Workflow: Episodes are recorded in Descript. After recording, I would share the project/file with you. From there, I’d like you to edit the episode, pull clips, create captions, clean up the transcript, and help package everything so we can post it across platforms.
