Podcast Editor for Descript/Squadcast

I'm looking for a podcast editor for a new interview based podcast called Fully Confused. The show focuses on identity, culture, family, belonging and personal evolution. Guests include people navigating life between cultures, generations, communities and expectations. What I am looking for: 1. Experience editing interview style podcasts 2. Proficiency with Descript 3. Ability to remove filler words, awkward pauses, and tangents while maintaining a natural conversational flow. 4. Strong storytelling instincts 5. Basic audio cleanup and leveling 6. Ability to identify compelling moments for social medical clips 7. Show notes experience Typical episode length: 45-60 minutes Deliverables: 1. Edited audio file ready for publishing 2. Clean Descript project file 3. 3-5 short social media clips 4. show notes IMPORTANT: I'm not looking for someone who over edits conversations. I want a editor who can preserve emotion and pacing while improving listener experience. I'd love to start with a paid test edit of a short segment before committing to ongoing work.
