Podcast Productor / Editor for Medical Association

We are an Illinois based nonprofit medical association seeking an experienced Podcast Editor to support the production of a professional, physician focused podcast. The podcast is designed for a primary care audience and includes clinically relevant discussions that use appropriate medical terminology. We are looking for someone who can take raw recordings and produce polished, engaging, and accurate episodes that meet a high standard for clarity and professionalism. Key Responsibilities: Edit and clean raw audio recordings into high quality podcast episodes Improve sound quality including noise reduction, leveling, and clarity Add intro, outro, music, and transitions consistent with brand standards Ensure clear pacing, logical flow, and professional presentation Incorporate feedback from staff and physician hosts as needed Prepare final audio files for distribution on podcast platforms Qualifications: Proven experience editing podcasts or similar audio content Ability to meet deadlines and communicate effectively Comfort working with healthcare or medical content preferred Nice to Have: Experience editing content for healthcare, academic, or nonprofit organizations Familiarity with primary care or physician audiences Understanding of professional standards in medical communications Project Details: This is a 6 month pilot project with the potential for extension Episodes are typically interview or discussion based To Apply please include: Links podcast samples you have edited A short description of your editing workflow and tools Your availability and estimated turnaround time per episode We are looking for a reliable partner who can help us produce clear, accurate, and engaging content for a physician audience.
