Post-Close Loan Specialist

Amplend is a private real estate lending firm built on partnership, integrity, and disciplined execution. The Post-Close Loan Specialist ensures every loan performs smoothly after closing - sitting at the intersection of asset management, borrower communication, and operational execution. You'll own post-close borrower onboarding, monitor interest payments, process rehab draw requests against approved scope, chase trailing documents (recorded mortgages, title policies) with attorneys and title companies, keep insurance compliant and lapse-free, and maintain meticulous digital loan files. This is detail-critical, fully remote work — we move real money against real properties, so precision and follow-through matter more than speed. Strong written English and comfort dealing with external counterparties are essential. This role offers a clear pathway into a Loan Processing position for someone who shows ownership and a genuine desire to grow. About our interview — please read before applying. Because this is a remote, high-trust role, our process is rigorous by design. It is a 1-hour live video interview with our CEO and CGO: We request that all AI tools should be turned off during the interview. ~ 30 Min: Behavioral questions on how you've handled real situations in past work. ~ 20 Min: Case study - Beforehand we'll send you a short set of our lending and draw-process materials. You'll have time to study them and prepare. We're evaluating how well you absorbed the material, the quality of the questions you ask, and how you reason through realistic scenarios - not whether you've memorized everything. ~ 10 Min: Your questions for us. We want someone who reads carefully, asks sharp questions, and takes full ownership. If you are hired, we will pay you at your hourly rate for the time (approx. 4–5 hours) you spent preparing for the case study — we value the effort up front.
