We are seeking an expert Microsoft Power Apps and Azure contractor to investigate and resolve a recurring, highly complex issue affecting our Canvas Apps.Our apps connect to an Azure datastore tied to our data warehouse, which handles large-scale data from multiple sources. We are experiencing edge cases where a specific app fails for one single user while working perfectly for everyone else.The issue is intermittent and follows the user account across different workstations and browsers, ruling out local machine or browser cache problems. We need an advanced troubleshooter who can dive into the telemetry, session IDs, and data layers to find the root cause.Key ResponsibilitiesRoot Cause Analysis: Diagnose intermittent, user-specific app failures that bypass standard browser/workstation isolation.Advanced Debugging: Analyze Power Apps Monitor logs, session details, and canvas app formulas to trace execution errors.Data Layer Inspection: Audit Azure data connections, security roles, and data warehouse queries to check for row-level locks, throttling, or sync delays.Microsoft Support Liaison: Review previous documentation from Microsoft support escalations and prepare diagnostic packages if cases need reopening.App Optimization: Implement robust error handling within the Canvas Apps to prevent silent failures and improve logging.Required SkillsDeep expertise in Microsoft Power Apps (Canvas Apps architecture, debugging tools, and performance tuning).Strong experience with Azure Data Platform (Azure SQL, Synapse, or data lakes) and enterprise data warehouses.Mastery of diagnostic tools like Power Apps Monitor, browser developer tools, and Fiddler.Solid understanding of Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), security roles, and user provisioning profiles.Excellent communication skills to translate complex technical bugs into actionable fixes.Project Type & BudgetProject Type: One-time project / Ongoing ad-hoc troubleshootingHourly/Fixed: Hourly preferred (Please provide your standard hourly rate)Experience Level: Expert (Tier 3 Support / Solutions Architect level)
