Power BI Report Building and Gateway Configuration

Power BI Report Developer / Power BI Gateway Consultant Needed We are seeking an experienced freelancer to help our team build reports using **Power BI** and configure/manage the **Power BI Gateway**. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in: * Power BI report design and development * Power BI Gateway setup and configuration * Data analysis and reporting * Data visualization best practices * Working with SQL Server or data warehouse environments * Guiding internal teams on report design and delivery This role is not simply a task where we assign work and wait for delivery after several days. We are looking for someone who can **work closely with our team**, participate in discussions, guide us through best practices, and help us improve how we design and deliver reports. A major part of this engagement will be **collaboration and mentoring**. You should be comfortable explaining your approach, reviewing our current report/data design, and helping our team become stronger in Power BI reporting. ### Responsibilities * Build Power BI reports and dashboards * Configure and troubleshoot Power BI Gateway * Work with our team to understand reporting requirements * Recommend better approaches for report design and data modeling * Guide our team on Power BI best practices * Help improve report performance, usability, and maintainability * Participate in working sessions with our internal team ### Preferred Experience * Strong hands-on Power BI experience * Experience with Power BI Gateway * SQL Server experience preferred * Data warehouse or ETL experience preferred * Ability to teach, guide, and collaborate with a technical team * Good communication skills We are looking for someone who can work with us on an ongoing basis for a few hours per week, with flexible timing.
