Power System Studies - SKM

We are looking for an experienced electrical engineer or electrical designer to help review and clean up arc flash studies and SKM models. This work will involve reviewing SKM PowerTools models, checking device settings, running reports, reviewing TCC coordination, motor starting studies, VFD studies, and helping pick up client/internal review comments on reports and deliverables. Scope of Work: * Review SKM models for accuracy and completeness * Verify equipment data, protective devices, feeder sizes, transformer data, utility fault current, and device settings * Review and clean up arc flash study reports * Print/export reports to our company standards * Review and adjust TCC coordination curves * Check upstream/downstream device coordination * Review motor starting studies * Review VFD studies and related assumptions * Pick up comments from reviewed reports and update the study/model accordingly * Help organize deliverables such as: * Arc flash reports * Short circuit reports * TCC curves * Device schedules * Relay/breaker setting reports * Arc flash labels * One-line review comments * Provide clear notes on anything that appears incorrect, missing, or uncoordinated Required Experience: * Strong experience with SKM PowerTools * Arc flash study experience required * Knowledge of NFPA 70E and IEEE 1584 * Experience reviewing TCC coordination curves * Experience with breaker settings, relay settings, fuses, transformers, switchgear, MCCs, panels, and VFDs * Ability to review reports carefully and pick up comments * Ability to work cleanly and follow established company formatting/report standards * Data center, industrial, healthcare, or large commercial power system experience is a plus
