Power BI expert needed to update design of Reports

Power BI Dashboard Designer – UI/UX Modernization & Report Enhancement We are looking for an experienced Power BI developer/designer to help us improve the visual design, usability, and overall professionalism of our existing Power BI reports. The current dashboards are functional and data-accurate, but they need a significant upgrade in terms of layout, visual hierarchy, consistency, and overall user experience. The goal is to transform them into clean, modern, executive-level reporting dashboards that are easy to interpret and visually appealing. Project Scope The selected freelancer will work with existing Power BI reports and focus on improving: Overall dashboard layout and structure Visual consistency across pages and reports Color schemes, typography, and branding alignment Chart selection and data visualization best practices Readability and information hierarchy Interactive elements (filters, slicers, drill-down experience) Alignment, spacing, and grid system improvements Reduction of clutter and unnecessary visual noise Key Objectives Make dashboards look professional and presentation-ready for stakeholders and executives Improve usability and clarity of insights Ensure consistent design language across all reports Enhance storytelling through data visualization Maintain all existing data logic, measures, and DAX calculations (no breaking changes) Required Skills & Experience Strong experience with Microsoft Power BI (dashboard design + development) Good understanding of data visualization principles and UI/UX design Experience building executive dashboards or business reporting systems Knowledge of DAX and Power Query is a plus (for safe adjustments if needed) Ability to work with existing reports rather than building from scratch Attention to detail and design consistency Nice to Have Experience working with corporate branding guidelines Background in BI consulting or analytics storytelling Familiarity with financial, sales, or operational dashboards Portfolio of before/after dashboard redesigns Deliverables Redesigned Power BI reports with improved UI/UX Consistent design system (colors, fonts, layout standards) Optimized visual structure for better readability Optional: style guide or reusable dashboard template Engagement Type Project-based (initial redesign of existing dashboards)
