Premium Portfolio Website for Documentary Filmmaker & Production Company

Summary I'm looking for an experienced website designer/developer to build a clean, premium portfolio website for a new documentary production company. This is not a branding project. All creative direction has already been completed, including the logo, copy, site structure, navigation, artwork, reviews, broadcaster/platform logos and overall visual direction. I'm looking for someone who can implement that vision professionally, with tasteful refinements to typography, spacing and layout where appropriate. Everything is ready to go. The copy is complete, the artwork has already been prepared in uniform formats, broadcaster logos have been collected, review quotes selected and the site architecture finalised. This should allow the project to move quickly without lengthy planning or content development. Anyone applying, please include the phrase "Mendoza" at the top of your application. Website Structure The website will consist of five pages only. Home Selected Work Music Documentaries About Contact This is intentionally a very simple website. There are no individual project pages, no blog, no e-commerce functionality and no complex features. The site is built around two long editorial portfolio pages. Home The homepage will include: Company logo Introductory text Embedded Vimeo showreel Selected Work A single scrolling portfolio page featuring approximately ten documentary productions. Each production will include: Key artwork Title Year Duration Format My role (Producer / Director / Writer / Editor etc.) Broadcaster and streaming platform logos Selected review quotes View Trailer button (opening the trailer in a Vimeo lightbox/pop-up) The layout will alternate from project to project (artwork left, text right, then vice versa). There are no links to individual production pages. The trailer should open in a Vimeo lightbox/pop-up, allowing the visitor to return immediately to the portfolio page after watching. Music Documentaries A second scrolling portfolio page using exactly the same editorial layout for approximately six music documentary productions. Each production will include: Artwork Title Year Duration Selected review quote(s) (No trailers on this one) About Biography and portrait. Contact Simple contact page with contact details. Assets Provided Everything required has already been prepared, including: Company logo Complete website copy High-resolution artwork Vimeo links Broadcaster and streaming platform logos Biography Portrait Selected review quotes Domain name (already registered) This is an implementation and polish project rather than a design-from-scratch project. Requirements Clean, premium, modern design Strong typography and visual hierarchy Desktop-first design (the primary audience will be viewing on desktop/laptop, with responsive support for tablet and mobile) Fast loading Easy for me to update in future Squarespace is preferred, although I'm happy to consider alternative platforms if you believe they offer clear advantages for this type of portfolio website. Budget & Timeline The listed budget reflects the scope of the project. Please provide your fixed project price together with examples of relevant work.
