Principal Investigator (PhD Required) – Grant Proposal Lead for Nonprofit Submission

I am seeking a highly qualified Principal Investigator (PI) with a PhD in a research, science, or related field to lead and strengthen a nonprofit grant proposal. This role requires someone who can bring academic rigor, strategic insight, and strong proposal development experience to an existing submission. The PI will be responsible for refining the project narrative, strengthening methodology and outcomes, and ensuring alignment with funder requirements and evaluation criteria. The ideal candidate has experience serving as a PI or Co-PI, understands how grant proposals are reviewed, and can position projects competitively. You should be comfortable contributing at both a strategic and technical level, as well as collaborating closely with a nonprofit founder. You must also be comfortable engaging with PhD-level reviewers or evaluation panels, if needed, and able to clearly communicate the project’s design, impact, and credibility. This is a project-based engagement with potential for ongoing collaboration on future grant submissions. Strong academic writing skills in U.S. English required. Detailed materials, draft proposal, and funder guidelines will be shared with shortlisted candidates.
