AI Product Designer - E-Com

Hi, We're an e-commerce company with our own registered brand and our own custom products, so we're not just reselling generic items. We're currently looking for a talented AI designer to join us long-term (part-time) for product photography-style images for our online shop — think e-commerce product images and images used inside product descriptions. All images are AI-generated. Style-wise, we want the opposite of those loud, overloaded US-style product images packed with text and graphics. Our direction is minimalist, clean, precise. Beautiful natural lighting — slightly moody/darker is welcome — real-life scenes, sharp focus on the product in use. VERY IMPORTANT — realism and logic: This is where most designers fail, and it's the #1 thing we check. Every image has to make sense logically and look like a real photo, not like AI. Examples of what we mean: - If a tomato is being sliced, the slices must be realistically thin — not thick chunks - A chicken breast must have a realistic size and weight — not look oversized - If a product is being washed, there should be a sponge in the scene and you should see the water running down the surface naturally - The kitchen should look like a REAL, lived-in kitchen — not empty and sterile. Think details in the background: pot holders, cutlery, a bottle of olive oil, etc. The focus stays on the product, but the scene around it must feel natural and full - Nothing in the image should scream "AI" — no weird hands, no impossible physics, no strange proportions Quality is our number one priority — not speed. If a single image needs 20-30 extra minutes to make it look right, please take those minutes. We would rather receive 4 perfect images than 10 average ones. Attention to detail is what we value most. Our products are kitchen items (e.g. titanium cutting boards, pans), and we'll be launching 8-10 more products with the same design language — so this is a long-term collaboration, not a one-off job. What to include in your application: - A link (Google Drive, portfolio, etc.) to your previous work — ideally AI-generated product images - A BIG plus: if you have already created AI product images for other Shopify stores / e-commerce brands, please show us those examples specifically - A short note on your workflow and which AI tools you use Ongoing work will be coordinated with our Shopify Manager, who will send you clear briefs for each new product.
