Summary

Product Listing Specialist · Shopify x Google (dropshipping) Who we are We run multiple e-commerce stores at a serious pace. Our products are pushed through Google Ads and Google Shopping, which means our product pages and feed have to be exactly how Google wants them. No disapproved products, no misleading titles, no wrong categories, no ad spend wasted on bad listings. That is a specific craft, and we are looking for someone who already has it, not someone who will learn it on our budget. What you'll do You'll be the person responsible for how our products show up on Shopify and in the Google product feed. Concretely: Building and optimising product pages on Shopify (title, description, images, variants, pricing, inventory, tags) Writing meta titles and meta descriptions that rank on the right keywords AND convert into clicks Categorising products correctly using the Google Product Taxonomy Managing the product feed through Google Merchant Center: GTIN, MPN, brand, condition, all required fields properly filled Positioning products so they feel unique, not like a standard dropship listing you see everywhere Alt-text and image SEO on product images Schema markup / structured data where relevant Fixing disapproved products in Merchant Center before they cost us ad spend Proactively thinking about how we can present our catalogue better and which products are suitable for Google's policies What we need from you This is not an entry-level role. We need someone who genuinely owns the Google side of e-commerce: Proven experience with Shopify product listings, ideally for dropship stores running on Google Ads Deep understanding of Google Merchant Center, the Google Product Taxonomy, and what Google's Shopping Policies do and do not allow You know from experience why products get disapproved and how to fix them You write product titles and meta descriptions that rank on the right keywords. Not keyword-stuffing, but smart You understand the difference between listings built for Google and listings built for Meta. These are not the same job You have a feel for brand positioning. A product should not feel like an AliExpress copy, it should feel like part of a real brand You work independently and take ownership. We don't want to chase you to check whether a listing is correct Comfortable in Shopify backend, Google Merchant Center, Google Search Console Available a minimum of 4 hours per day, consistently Why this role is worth your time This is a real seat at a real business. What you do has direct impact on our ad performance: better listings means lower CPC, higher CTR, higher ROAS. Your work is visible from day one. Clear path to grow into a manager role. As we scale, the person in this seat has the opportunity to grow into a Listing & Catalogue Manager role, owning the full product catalogue strategy across our stores, with the responsibility, team, and compensation that come with it. If you're ambitious and you deliver, that path is yours. You'll work directly with the owner. No middle layer of management, no being lost in a queue. How to apply Reply to this listing with: A short message about the Shopify stores you've built listings for. Tell us which stores, what revenue level, and what your concrete contribution was to the product pages and/or feed A 1-2 minute Loom video in English introducing yourself and briefly explaining how you would list a product to meet Google's requirements AND convert One example (anonymised) of a product that was disapproved in Merchant Center and that you got reapproved. Tell us what the issue was and how you solved it Optionally, a link to a product page you've built that you're proud of The first week is a paid trial. You'll work on real products and we'll see how you actually perform, not how you interview. Don't apply if: You've only done Meta / Facebook product listings and want to "try Google too" You've never worked with Google Merchant Center You don't know what the Google Product Taxonomy is You need step-by-step instructions for every listing Start: immediate.
