Product growth analyst

We are looking for a commercially minded E-commerce Growth Analyst to analyse product or marketplace issues such as sales decline. We sell on 15+ online marketplaces, and your role will be to investigate products, categories, or marketplaces that need attention, identify the root causes of issues, and recommend actions to improve performance. Responsibilities - Investigate products or categories with declining sales or growth opportunities. - Analyse sales performance, pricing, competitor activity, inventory, and marketplace data. - Compare our products and pricing against competitors. - Identify opportunities to improve listings, pricing, promotions, or product assortment. - Spot trends, risks, and growth opportunities across our marketplaces. - Present clear insights and practical recommendations for management. What We're Looking For - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Experience in e-commerce, marketplaces, or product growth. - Ability to turn data into clear business recommendations. - Commercial mindset with an understanding of pricing, competition, and customer behaviour. - Able to work independently and communicate findings clearly. - Experience with marketplaces such as Amazon, eBay, Walmart, TikTok Shop, Wayfair, OnBuy, ManoMano, Kaufland, Mirakl marketplaces, or similar is an advantage. How You'll Work You'll typically be assigned a product, category, or business problem to investigate. You'll analyse the relevant data, research competitors and market conditions, identify what's driving performance, and present your findings along with practical, prioritised recommendations for management to review and implement. The role is NOT about building dashboards. This is an ongoing role with the potential for a long-term partnership for the right candidate.
