Description: I am managing a residential construction project. I am looking for a professional consultant with deep expertise in aacoustics and noise control. This project requires more than standard insulation; we are implementing a rigorous soundproofing strategy to mitigate structure-borne vibration and airborne noise in a modern home. You must be comfortable providing guidance on decoupling mechanical systems (plumbing, HVAC, in-wall toilet carriers), and detailing assemblies like isolated wall systems, shadow reveal trims, and HVAC vibration damping. Core Responsibilities: - Provide & review soundproofing specifications for specific wall assemblies (shared walls with bathrooms, laundry rooms, and HVAC locations). - Consult on the integration of acoustic treatments with architectural details, including shadow reveal trims and high-performance door transitions. - Ensure the proposed assemblies are technically sound, code-compliant, and optimized for maximum ROI on noise reduction.
