Public Records / Secretary of State Research — Identify Business Owners from LLC Names

**The work** We have a list of ~400 businesses across 8 US states. For each, we have the operating-company name (usually an LLC) and a mailing address. We need you to look each one up in the relevant state's business-entity / Secretary of State registry and pull the real people behind it. For every record, return: - Registered agent name - Officer / member / principal name(s) and titles - Principal or registered business address (and home/principal address if listed) - The state registry URL or filing reference you got it from - A note if the entity couldn't be found or the filing was ambiguous **What makes someone good for this** You're comfortable navigating state business-entity search portals (some are clean web lookups, some are clunky PDF filings). You've done public-records or corporate-registry research before and you're accurate and organized. This is straightforward research work — no special tools required, just diligence. **Format** We'll give you a spreadsheet with the company names, states, and addresses. You fill in the columns above. One row per input record — every record comes back with either the people or a short reason it couldn't be resolved.
