Python Developer for Real-Time Object Detection Demo

Scope: Short-term project (Demo development) Experience Level: Intermediate to Advanced About Us: SCARLET is a privacy-first computer vision startup building real-time detection and tracking systems for facility safety and security. Our core product (Recon) uses cutting-edge detection pipelines with a focus on on-device processing and zero cloud dependency. The Project: We're building out a live demo showcasing our detection and tracking capabilities. We need an experienced YOLO developer to help accelerate the technical implementation and ensure everything runs smoothly. Key Responsibilities: Work with YOLO models for object detection and real-time inference Python development (optimization, integration, debugging) Assist with model inference pipeline tuning and performance optimization Help integrate detection models with tracking systems Troubleshoot and resolve any runtime issues during demo setup Required Skills: Solid Python experience Hands-on YOLO experience (any version, but YOLO models) Understanding of computer vision fundamentals Experience with real-time detection pipelines Ability to work independently and efficiently Nice to Have: Experience with ByteTrack or similar tracking algorithms Flask/backend integration experience Knowledge of GPU optimization Familiarity with Jetson devices What We're Looking For: Someone who can jump in, understand the codebase quickly, and contribute meaningful work. This is a fast-paced project with tight timelines.
