Python Script for AI Disease Prediction from Symptoms
Worldwide
Project Overview I am looking for a quick Python script or a basic machine learning model that can predict potential diseases based on user-entered symptoms. This is a small-scale, proof-of-concept task. What You Will Do: Use a standard public dataset (like the Kaggle Columbia University Symptoms-Disease dataset). Implement a simple machine learning classifier (such as a Decision Tree, Random Forest, or Naive Bayes) using Scikit-Learn. Provide a clean, working Python script (.py or .ipynb Jupyter notebook) where a user can input a list of symptoms and get the top 3 most likely matching conditions. Requirements: Clean, well-commented Python code. Quick turnaround (looking to get this done within 24–48 hours). No complex UI or cloud deployment needed—just a functioning local script or a basic terminal interface is perfect. Please share a brief line about your experience with Python/ML and when you can deliver.
