Quality Control Specialist – Defense Certification Package Review (ITAR/U.S. Citizen Required)

We are seeking a **Quality Control Specialist** to review certification packages supporting U.S. Navy and Department of Defense contracts. **U.S. Citizenship is required.** This position involves ITAR-controlled work, and no exceptions can be made. The ideal candidate has **5+ years of quality assurance or quality control experience** in aerospace, defense, or military manufacturing and is experienced in reviewing technical documentation for contract compliance. **Responsibilities:** * Review certification packages for completeness and accuracy prior to shipment. * Verify engineering drawing and specification revision levels. * Review Material Test Reports (MTRs), Certificates of Conformance (CoCs), dimensional inspection reports, and material traceability documentation. * Confirm Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) complies with contract requirements. * Identify discrepancies and ensure documentation meets customer and contractual requirements. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Experience with U.S. Navy, DLA, or other DoD contracts. * Familiarity with FAR/DFARS, MIL specifications, NAVSUP, DCMA, ISO 9001, and/or AS9100. * Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications. This is a **part-time, long-term remote position** with flexible hours.
