QuickBooks Online Cleanup

We are looking for an experienced bookkeeper (CPA or QuickBooks Online Advanced ProAdvisor strongly preferred) for a cleanup project focused on transaction categorization. Important context: our books are fully up to date and reconciled. This is NOT a catch-up job. However, over the years some transactions were assigned to the wrong categories/accounts. We need a detail-oriented professional to review our entire transaction history in QuickBooks Online, identify miscategorized entries, and correct them. Scope of work: Review the full transaction history in QuickBooks Online (all years, all accounts) Audit our chart of accounts and flag categories that are redundant, misused, or set up incorrectly Identify miscategorized transactions (expenses, income, transfers, owner draws/contributions, assets vs. expenses, etc.) Propose corrections in a review file BEFORE applying changes — we want to approve the approach for each recurring pattern, not each individual transaction Apply approved corrections in QuickBooks Online, preserving bank reconciliation integrity (no breaking previously reconciled periods) Handle prior-year corrections carefully: for years with filed tax returns, document adjustments separately so our tax preparer can assess whether amendments are needed Deliver a final summary report: what was changed, by category and by year, with before/after P&L and Balance Sheet comparisons
