Quickbooks Bookkeeper/Accountant

Details We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Bookkeeper with strong experience in QuickBooks and excellent communication skills. Experience working in the construction industry is a plus point! The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, and supporting clients. Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to: •Maintain and update financial records, including accounts payable and accounts receivable •Reconcile bank statements and prepare financial reports such as profit & loss, balance sheet, and cash flow reports for management review •Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial statements •Assist in preparing documents for tax filings and audits •Process payroll and ensure compliance with tax regulations •Track invoices, expenses, and payments to ensure timely collections and disbursements •Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and construction industry regulations •Coordinate with project managers to track costs and profitability for construction projects and report financial data and documentation •Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes •Manage invoicing, billing, and collections processes •Perform other finance-related tasks as required •Knowledgeable in QuickBooks for bookkeeping, reporting, and account management •May work on different tasks given by the superior/s. Qualifications: •Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred •At least 2 years of experience as a bookkeeper. •Experience working with US clients or US accounting processes is highly preferred •Familiarity with the construction industry and job costing is highly desirable •Strong hands-on experience with QuickBooks, or other accounting software •Excellent organizational and analytical skills •Strong English and effective communication. •Clear and professional documentation of financial transactions. •High attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting •Ability to work independently and meet deadlines •Tech-savvy with knowledge of cloud-based accounting tools Technical Requirements: •Working Headset with Noise Cancellation feature for meetings with the management •Working Webcam for meetings with the management •Main and backup computer: with at least 8GB RAM •Main Internet Service Speed: at least 25 Mbps wired connection •Backup Internet Service Speed: at least 10 Mbps Benefits: •100% Work-From-Home •Exceptionally Supportive Team •Opportunities for Career Growth Schedule: US work hours (9:00 am- 5:00pm EDT; 40 hours per week); Night Shift Location: This is a remote job
